Sky Light is our new free wordpress theme today, the theme based our theme Light Folio, we change the background image with a sky style and give a new look, combination black and blue color. The theme has a unique, simple design that will perfectly fit for your personal blogs, portfolio, corporate and can be a perfect fit for a unique magazine-style-blog.

Sky Light Theme is provided to user under the open source GPL License, you can use it for all your project or at least use it as a foundation for your next projects for free and without any restrictions. Please link to this article if you would like to spread the world.

Sky Light Theme is released especially to the readers by DynamicWP team.

Once again no localisation, only english texts…

When will you guys learn that there is more than one language in the world?

This is a big problem with all these free texts, but I understand to integrate Twitter is far more necessary ;=(

Great free magazine theme. It looks really better than the premium wp themes.
Why you not design wp theme for premium one, so that you can sell make money! I think.

Hi guys,

Thanks for releasing this theme into the GPL. I hope that if yall do make premium themes and charge for them that you’ll release them into the GPL eventually too.

I had just a couple of suggestions.

1. Make sure to include <?php wp_head(); ?> in the header.php file just before </head>. Some plugins break if that isn’t included.

2. When I view a category I see the excerpts for all the posts in that category, but no pictures. Is there a way that we could include a thumbnail of the first picture in each post excerpt of that category?

  2. you can use catch_that_image() function. open the index.php to see how that function works and you can use for category page

Hello I am having trouble getting my “pages” on the header homepage? Categories show up..How do I add contact,etc…..The theme is great!

  Hi Steven, for this theme we intentionally designed to use categories as navigation in the header. And to add the contact page, about page, etc…you can use pages widget so your pages will be appear in right sidebar.
  But if you want to add the pages navigation in the header, you can do this steps:
  - Open the file header.php in SkyLight folder
  - Find this: < ?php wp_list_categories('title_li=&' ); ?>
  and replace it with: < ?php wp_list_pages('title_li=&' ); ?>
  In standard code editor, that code is in line 40

Thanks for the page PHP ! I presume Light Folio is the same format? Looks really great too…
If you added an extensive admin page with several more options ( slider depth re-size!) sell it on themeforest. It is a clean and easy to use.

  After we see your site, emm…there is a conflict on your javascript files..exactly with the file prototype.js.
  Our advice, you try to deactivate the plugin Lightbox 2.

  Em…kalo gambar di post yang slider, sengaja tidak kami ambil langsung dari artikelnya, soale terkadang tidak semua orang menggunakan gambar berukuran besar pada artikelnya. Jadi kami buatkan theme optionnya.
  
  Premium themenya, sedang under construction mas…InsyaAllah akhir bulan ini kami publish…tunggu ya mas? Tentu dengan fitur yang komplit dan lebih canggih

Thank you for the wonderful elite class theme. I am just suggesting the possibility to make the post slider compatible with the description so each future image will have its description. Can you please give me the code to add in my existing just a single page of my choice? I would love to see a paid service in this site, i think you really deserve it.

1- I’m trying to add 3 deferent links of image in field (Slide Show Images Setting) But one image is appear only .

2- How can making links between the image and article like your demo theme (Skylight) on slide show images ?

In the header, where the categories are displayed at the top, what would be the easiest way to replace the categories with “Links” and “Pages” from WordPress?
