Theme Installation

Installing Manual via FTP Program

1. Unzip the file you have download, then you’ll find a folder called “DTimes Full Package” Open then unzip “DTimes.zip” files on that folder. Now you can find a folder called “DTimes”.
2. To install the theme you should have ready wordPress installed and running on your server, and place it in “wp-contents/themes”. So what you’ll have in the end is “wp-contents/themes/DTimes”
3. Now that you have the theme uploaded you just need to login to your WP admin panel and activate the DTimes theme in “Appearance > Themes”

Installing via WordPress Backend

1. Download the DTimes Full Package theme, then unzip.
2. Log into your WP admin panel and click on the “Appearance” tab. Now click on the “Add New Themes” tab.
3. Click on the “Upload” button, “Browse” in DTimes Full Package folder and you can find DTimes.zip files, then select “Open”.
4. Click the “Install Now” button.
5. Activate the theme from this page, OR “Return to Themes Page” and activate from there if you experience a problem.

Widget

The theme includes 4 custom widgets that you can add to any one of your widgetized areas :

• DTimes – Flickr
• DTimes – Popular Post
• DTimes – Latest Post
• DTimes – Ads 125×125

Page Templates

This theme comes bundled with unique page templates for some additional functionality to your Themes. Below is a list of page templates that available for this theme “DTimes”.

• Contact page, is a page template for contact form, so a web visitor can email you directly. You will have to add your email address to the theme option’s panel of the theme to make sure it is set up correctly.
• Redirect page, is a page template to make a link to an external site that will appear to your page navigation menu. Follow this steps to adding an external url :
  1. Create a new page in WordPress
  2. Add a title to the page (e.g WordPress Tips and Trick)
  3. Add an url to the content of the page (e.g http://www.dynamicwp.net/category/articles-and-tutorials/ or dynamicwp.net/category/articles-and-tutorials/ or www.dynamicwp.net/category/articles-and-tutorials/).
  4. Scroll down to the “Templates” field in the “Attributes” box and select “Redirect” page template
  5. And Publish! Now your an external site link will appear to your page navigation menu.
