Installation Guide

Installing Manual via FTP program

1. Unzip the file you have download, you will find a folder called “UpSide”.
2. To install the theme you should have already wordpress installed and running on your server. Using FTP, upload the “UpSide” folder to your web server, and place it in “wp-contents/themes”. So what you’ll have in the end is “wp-contents/themes/Upside”
3. Now that you have the theme uploaded you just need to login to your WP admin panel and activate the LightFolio theme in “Appearance > Themes”

Installing via wordpress backend

1. Download the UpSide theme.
2. Log into your WP admin panel and click on the “Appearance” tab. Now click on the “Add New Themes” tab.
3. Click on the “Upload” button, “Browse” for your zip folder (UpSide.zip) you downloaded from our site to your computer and select “Open”.
4. Click the “Install Now” button.
5. Activate the theme from this page, OR “Return to Themes Page” and activate from there if you experience a problem.

Theme Setting Up

Theme Options Page

Upside theme comes with a custom options page (Appearance > UpSide Options)

• Change theme layout – you have 2 layout style : left sidebar or right sidebar
• Choose theme colour style – you have 5 color style : red, blue, green, orange, black.
• Set up your site logo - You have enter the full path to an image logo and the image ALT text.
• Set up your default gravatar - You have enter the full path to a square image and the name of gravatar.
• Use timthumb script or not – Use this options only if you have a problem with thumbnail image.
• Exclude page(s) – You have enter the ID of page (one or many).
• Exclude category(ies) – You have enter the ID of category (on or many).
• Social Networking – Enter your Twitter, RSS and email Feed link.
• Sidebar options -  Show your popular post? Show your latest post?
• Contact Page – A page with a contact form on it so that a web visitor can email you. Please add your email address to the theme option’s panel .
• Google Analytics code – Simply fill in the filed for Analytics code and save.

Contact Page

To create the Contact page, you will need to set the “Contact” template for it ( right side Attributes panel ), in order to have the contact page as in preview and have it Ajax functional.
